Colour Matters Art / Poetry competition

'le Pauvre Poéme'

Deadline: 21st April 2011
Jocelyn and Gordon Simms will judge the competition.

The competition is open to schools, groups and individuals.
Age categories: 4-7 yrs, 8-11 yrs, 12 -16 yrs.
The theme is colour – a single or several colours.

Poems should be illustrated in the style of the French ‘Le Pauvre Poéme' where the placement of the words on the page and illustrations compliment the words.

Book tokens to the value of £15 will be awarded to the best entries. I addition the school or institution which supplies the overall winning entry will receive a copy of ‘Colour Matters’ by Jocelyn Simms.

Schools and groups may submit entries on behalf of the pupils for an entry fee of £0.50 per poem.
Individuals may enter two poems for £3.50.
